Roxanne Weasley has always been shy, to the point of madness. With a brother like Fred who can really blame her? She’s used to taking a back seat because of the her sibling she’s been cursed with but she doesn’t particularly care, she’s happy to remain her shell until the opportunity presents itself that she can speak out. That was until she first laid eyes on Lee. Her breath literally left her body as she took him in in all his amazing beautifulness. Too bad his eyes just looked straight past her and to the girl behind her that day, his eyes went to Kirk. Now some might call her a little pathetic, just another little girl with a crush on her big brother’s best friend. But she knows deep down that it’s so much more than that. If only he would open his eyes he’d see just how perfect for him she is. The fire against his cool. The beauty next to his slight awkwardness. But at the moment all he sees is Kirk and Roxie has been left out in the cold like some forgotten pup. Poor girl. Maybe if she changed he'd actually start to see her as she is. The idea has occured to her many times but everytime she goes to buy make-up, or hair dye to get rid of her ginger locks she winces away and can't bare to do it. Her sense of self belief refuses to let her change herself for him, despite how much she wants to.
McLaggen has always been cursed with the fact that her brain is a little bit quicker than someone normal, she’s human but she has a freakishly high intelligence level. Now unfortunately for a few years this made her slightly stuck-up and was forever complaining when anyone broke the rules. She just wasn’t one to break them herself and so thought no one else should as well, however this was only until her third year, when she bumped into two young men. One was called Lee and the other Fred. These two boys were already best friends but they seemed, after a while to swell, and accept her into their little world. She was pleased to join because up to that point she really hadn’t had all that many friends. Over the years they have spent together they have grown closer and closer. Lee is almost like her brother now, but her feelings for Fred run a bit deeper. Or actually they run a lot deeper. McLaggen fell for him in her fourth year, but still hasn’t found the confidence to come out and say what she is thinking, or feeling. Instead the two have settled into forever snapping at each other, and it’s driving their common friends mad, particularly Lee who already has enough on his plate to worry about them. The two need a gentle nudge towards each other, but who will be the one to give it?
Kirk has always been seen as a beauty, maybe not as much as the likes of Skylar Potter and the D'Eaths but still very pretty. Hence the reason she drew two different sets of eyes to her the moment she was spotted. Lee and Pucey both found her enchanting but one being more forward than the other she ended up in a relationship with Pucey, and she couldn't be more happy about it. She has no idea that anyone else has been paying her the blindest bit of attention, she's completely blind to her good friend Lee's real feelings for her and so continuously goes on about how perfect her relationship is and how happy she is with her boy. It's driving Lee insane but this girl has always been a bit self-centered so just doesn't care to notice this.
Fred Weasley was always the odd-man out in muggle school. He never really found his place and this was a real worry to his parents, he was forever coming home with a slight miserable expression and sad eyes. But then he began at Hogwarts and everything changed, and all because he found Lee. The young man seemed to be a bit of a kindred spirit with him, never quite fitting in. Well now they could not fit in together. They became complete and utter best friends, never to be separated. They made a nice pair for a few weeks but then their numbers swelled to accept a third member of their ranks, a young woman called McLaggen. Now the moment Fred laid eyes on this girl he was slightly off footed but not because he disliked her, no in fact it was quite the opposite. She kind of set his heart racing for a few moments every time she deemed to crack a smile across her face. For a while he merely ignored it but now the two seemed to constantly be at each others throats and Fred can’t quite figure out why, so he’s just snapping back at her. Now this is beginning to grate on a few people’s nerves but Fred just doesn’t realise. He can’t see that the reason McLaggen keeps arguing with him is simply because she returns the feelings he’s having… He’s too blind to notice something like that.
Lee was always the one who didn’t really want to take part in things. He would sit on the sidelines during PE, he’d read by himself whilst the teacher was reading to the class, he kept himself to himself basically. Meaning that he didn’t make many friends when he was growing up, and he was happy like that. His parents were worried about his anti-social behaviour but there was nothing they could do to change it, it was just the way he was. That was until he moved up to Hogwarts and found another oddball that he actually felt comfortable around. This other oddball was a boy called Fred Weasley. The other boy was the bounce to his slight calm mostly and so the two become nion inseparable, neither was seen without the other. Now Lee would have been very happy for this to continue, never having been one for crowds but then a girl appeared in front of the two of them and they smelt another like them basically. Odd ones out together so to speak. The girl was McLaggen and so suddenly their duo became a trio and stuck that way. Now during the past three years a lot has changed. McLaggen is now his sister in all but blood, Fred is his brother and forever fighting with his sister from another mother, he’s been introduced to his best friends little sister, fancied said best friends little sister but then realised that she was best friends little sister and so has refused to think about even though it’s still there, and fallen apparently in love with a girl that’s taken and way out of his league, Kirk. Life at Hogwarts is difficult for everyone, and he is no exception.
Pucey is a lucky young man. He always has been and he always will be it appears. He stepped through the doors of Hogwarts and instantly many eyes turned to look at him. Sure not many of them lingered because Harper came in right after but still it was enough for him to build a slight reputation as being well liked and well fancied. He found himself a niche where he could sit quite comfortably, taking up sports and clubs so that he could find more friends. He was a popular young man with the men and the women of the school but then Kirk walked through the doors and he could see no other but her. She was new and he was one of the first people she in-counted, within a year they were dating and Pucey is very happy about that fact. They’re getting closer and closer and even though they’ve only been together for a few months’ people are already starting to spread rumours about their relationship. The only reason he’s staying with her is because she’s pregnant. They’re getting married after graduation. He was seen making out with another girl. The rumours are endless and none of them are true. The two of them are going to have to stay strong in the face of all these jealous remarks… Will they manage it?
Everyone has their own parts to play in this multi layered tale of despair and heartache. Oh how many twists in these tales we weave there are...
